Tshabalala’s promise to Musona

Tshabalala’s promise to Musona

Posted: 2009-11-25 14:31

If Knowledge Musona scores against SuperSport United tonight at Loftus, the first person he is going to see after the game could be Siphiwe Tshabalala.

The Bafana Bafana left winger reveals to KickOff.com that he has a ‘deal’ with Kaizer Chiefs’ young Zimbabwean striker.

“I owe him a pair of Nike boots, after he scored recently as we had a deal. Actually, if he scores against SuperSport, I will owe him another pair of Nike boots, because that’s what I promised him,” says ‘Shaba’, who is sponsored by Nike.

Musona has been on fire recently and Tshabalala feels the 21-year-old deserves his chance.

“Knowledge is one of our best strikers. He is a good finisher and he deserves to be part of the team, not that I’m taking anything away from our other strikers,” he says.

Kick off for the game is 19h30.

Top reasons why certain teams will/ won't fortify their playing squads:
1. Kaizer Cheaps: We don't have money. We are already paying Torrealba a fortune and he's signed with us until 2020.
2. Orlando Pirates (The Bugs): We already have 100 players on our books. Oh, okay, let's sign him, one more player won't hurt.
3. Mamelodi Sundowns: Remember this player always scores against us. Let's sign him.
4. Bloemfontein Celtic: Can we take him on-loan?
5. Maritzburg United: How old is the player? 38? That's good. We need the experience.
6. Lamontville Golden Arrows: Can he play tsamaya and shibobo? Bring him along and let's see how he dribbles past everybody.
7. Jomo Cosmos: Can he trap? He can? No ways! Why do we need someone who can trap?
More to come

Poor zim guy, now he plays for soccer boots??? Doesn't chiefs supply him???

Mr Que: 2009-11-25 15:18

Shabba me bioy always encouraging and assisting that what I called team work andn you are the team player.

WekwaChoga: 2009-11-25 15:39

Tshabalala is just giving this young boy an incentive. It is not like he is playing for soccer boots but this is a case of big brother motivating young brother.
Musona for player of the year (that is obviously subject to VV giving him a fair chance).

KHOSI4LYF .....

SIBUSISO: 2009-11-25 16:05

ooooh!!! thats what I call LOVE AND PIECE AT ITS BEST.....I like what Shabba is doing....MOTIVATION among the players. Yes competition is a good thing but Shabba realises that in order someone to do good, they have compete in another way

New Kid: 2009-11-25 16:09

I thought I heard some commentators saying Musona is 19yrs old?

SIBUSISO: 2009-11-25 16:13

Scorpion: 2009-11-25 14:59

I never knew you will be that domn man.......which player in the world will be playing for soccer boots as his package?????

You have to learn and look at things in a possitive manner.....let me lay it out for you......

Let say Musona have a friend, brother or any one he knows.....and that person needs soccer boots and he has ask Musona for help

Musona maybe sees it fit to help not just that person but his team mates as well. Then he tries his best but its not enough. As he goes along, Shabba comes to the picture.

Then Musona lays it out to Shabba what he wants to do to help. Shabba then says......""look man, I have a sponsor for boots ( which is NIKE ),.......lets make a deal.......if you score a goal to any match we play, I will give a pair of NKIE BOOTS"""" of Musona agrees upon

In that matter, chiefs wins games and someone get helped

HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT??????

Inkunzi : 2009-11-25 17:19

That's ridiculous! Do you mean that Zimbabwean's are that desperate. Cut a guy some slack he's a good player and deserve much better than that. Anyway concentrate on the task at hand.

Analyst: 2009-11-25 17:23

Nice one Sbu. big ups Shabba. Scorpion: STOP BEING DUMB. Maybe you were trying to be funny, but use your brains next time.

skye: 2009-11-25 17:26

pathetic incetives

why not give Nengomash his Nissan Almera , the man is always sweating

Tshabalala thinks he is the face of Shield Man and now he can give people R1200 nikes sneakers away

maybe he must give this 2 his relative in East that starve to death at the Eastrand mall

we are tired of Pre madonnas in Soccer

Wonder : 2009-11-25 17:52

Stupid, not that i expect anything better from these idiots from Natulawayo. Imagine Van Persie saying that to Walcott? Disgrace....!!!

Michael: 2009-11-25 18:06

SIBUSISO: Khosi elihle , that was intelligent bru.

Tshabalala: you're a team player and that's how you motivate a player.

It's a pity that stupid Wonder-bra has forgotten that Rafeal Chukwu promised Isaac Shai that if he could get national call up he'll get him a NIGERIAN natinal team track-suit and Chukwu did honor his promise.

Wonder-bra: don't come with your "Cleavage" attitude here , moron

Michael: 2009-11-25 18:08

Wonder-bra: You were one of the first to get a brain, before they were perfected.

"DOM-KOP"

Ntokozo: 2009-11-25 18:10

You Scumbags(Skye and Wonder) are a disgrace. You are phathetic and stupid, not Shabba!!!!

Wonder : 2009-11-25 18:37

The Micheal moron is back making his idiotic comment as usual, nxxxxxxx

Wonder : 2009-11-25 18:50

Ok guys, on a serious note now, i think the PSL and Supersport tv are taking for a ride. They seriously do not respect us and our soccer. How can 2 massive games be played at the same time? How are supposed to watch? Kaizer Chiefs and SSU is a massive game, Sundowns and Pirates need no introduction, 2 massive games at once, why? You hardly find big English teams playing big games at the same time. Matsatsantsa,Masandawana,Makhosi and Mabhakabhaka, we derseve better. These people must respect us, we must demand it because we've earned it.

Bongani: 2009-11-25 19:30

Ya neh! is this how chiefs strikers are motivated; specially the Zimbodas? what a shame! just give him one of those nissan you won, not boots.

Foreign coaches are selfish!

Foreign coaches are selfish!

Coaches in the PSL appear to be putting their own selfish interests ...
