MacBeth Sibaya Sibaya wins second League titleSibaya wins second League titlePosted: 2009-11-22 10:18 MacBeth Sibaya has won a second successive Russian Premier League title even though his club Rubin Kazan did not win their penultimate game at home to Zenit St Petersburg on Saturday. A 0-0 draw lifted Rubin Kazan to 60 points with one match left to go but Spartak Moscow’s 3-2 defeat in their derby match against CSKA handed Kazan the title.Spartak stayed on 55 points and now cannot catch Rubin Kazan with one round of matches left to play. The Tatarstan-based club were surprise league winner last season and have continued to shake up the world of football with several upset results in the UEFA Champions League, including a recent away win at Barcelona. Sibaya’s side play a crucial Champions League this week against Ukraine’s Dynamo Kiev where a home win will give them a massive chance of going to the knockout phase. Mzansi Football and KickOff.com

Televised games of his team, he was not playing TTM: 2009-11-23 07:42 Well done mfowethu. From all of us at KICK OFF. Mzakes: 2009-11-23 11:13 How many games did he play mr Editor tell us pls. You can't be proud of winning the tittle from the bench all good players will tell you that. Against Barcelona he wasn't playing and not on the bench. The football Rubin is playing it will be foolish for the coach to play him bcos he is clueless when it comes to the basics...i.e trapping, good first touch, passing, tackling, heading and general awareness. He doesn't have a football brain he is just a warkaholic which was right in the days of Linda Buthelezi but not now with the likes of Carrick, Esssien, Alonso, Toure-Yaya all the holding midfielders with football brains.
