I think Benni is right that there is still a lot from him. He was impressing last week when was introduced in the second half with his team mate Roberts against Portsmouth. He played well and created a goal through his perfect cross to Roberts. Commentators were also impressed by his skills which is a strength of South Africa players like Steven Pinaar.

We have Kermit Erasmus,Bernard Parker and Katlego Mphela and I think Mphela will form a good combination with McCarthy. I would prefer the coach to start the game with Mphela and McCarthy. By now all of us no he was out of the team because of politics because if form was the issue and game time why did we select players like Parker and Van Heerden who still had to break into the first team????? I think we will give a good account over the weekend i just dont know how we can make Lance the back up for Gxaxa...it still beats me.........

I saw Benni in Action last weekend 4 ROVERS. The guy is SHARP, FIT and SKILLFUL even if he cannot score over the weekend bt he will produce a sterling perfomance. He was so helpful for ROVERS to collect maximum points over POPEY (Portsmouth) Mbazo almost broke his leg, this AROON Guy nxa! Pinaar is not in the squad because of him nxa!!!!

He will blame lack of experience again from his teammates when he fails again to score.

This man only managed to score 2 goals the whole of last year. You cannot compare him to Parker and Mphela. Last time he scored a brace for Bafana was back in 2002 against Turkey. I think he is pathetic. Now he is overweight. He looks more of a wrestler than a soccer player.

Strikers dont make intelligent runs, dont know how to dellay runs, dont know how to position themselfs, dont know how to join the attack.

Hence you will see players such as Teko, Pienaar end up shooting, taking on defenders or playing back pass.

When you go to war you use the best materials you have. Berni isstill the best striker SA have today, if he had played in the confederation cup SA would have won more matches. Combine Berni with Kermit Erasmus up front and BafanaBafana would be deadly against any team. The current strikers shivers in front of goal. I am a Nigerian but I like the passion and pace of Bafana Bafana during the confederation cup. If they keep up that workman's attitude with the striking duo of Berni and Erasmus they would be hard to beat.
