My pledge to SA
I hereby pledge my support to Bafana Bafana before, during, and after the Fifa World Cup 2010. As your proud supporter I pledge to let everyone know that you’re worthy of mine and their support. I will urge my colleagues, neighbours, and other fellow countrymen to sing and blow their vuvuzelas in your support in every stadium, fan park, in front of their TV sets at home, and at every other opportunity. Irrespective of how far you progress in the tournament, I’ll continue in your name to support the tournament. I’ll exercise your sportsmanship and adopt remaining teams in the course of the tournament, so that the world may know that you are a team representing a passionate and friendly footballing nation.
Sisonke every step of the way, good luck South Africa!

I own three Bafana Bafana replica jerseys and two t-shirts. I also own three caps and my entire family, including my two kids and fiancé, we all have Bafana kit so we are right behind the national team. I support them win or lose and we need to understand that even if we don’t support them, it is not like they won’t compete in the World Cup. They are part of it and for me; supporting Bafana is the right thing to do.
I’m busy in studio at the moment composing a Bafana song for the World Cup so look out for that. I support Orlando Pirates locally, but with the national team I don’t support individual players, because it is a group thing. Siphiwe Tshabalala lives two houses away from me and we see each other a lot and even Teko Modise is around my place, and when we talk they know that I’m fully behind them. Some I meet them at airports when we are travelling like Richard Henyekane, so they definitely got my support. Re kaofela (We are together).
I will take this opportunity to appreciate being an African and being part of the nation that will host the World Cup this year. I strongly believe that the group we are in is not as difficult as some may think. I pledge my 100 percent support to Bafana Bafana. I know you will make it to the second round and make Mzansi proud. God bless any player who will be carrying the nation on his shoulders come June.

Cameroon and Senegal have proven that football is played on the field and not on paper. We may be the lowest ranked team in this World Cup but we will be the most supported. All eyes will be on us. Let’s use that to our advantage and draw inspiration from our own LOC who have done a splendid job, The Boks and the Proteas have done it in the past. Now is your time. KE NAKO!
