Perform Madiba Magic
I am 100 per cent behind Bafana Bafana and I just hope they will perform the Madiba magic of 1996 in our homeland. With the support you get from the current President Jacob Zuma, it means the whole of SA is behind you. Remember in the years of apartheid you were not allowed to host such an event, now is your chance to show the world how good are you. Shine Bafana Bafana shine!

I first want to say to the doubters and all the critics of Bafana Bafana that in any sport there will always be surprises. Watch this space: Bafana will surprise a lot of people during the World Cup. I remember when I beat Malcolm Klaasen in 2007 nobody gave me a chance, but I beat him and I won the IBF title. My point is that to those who are doubting that Bafana can do it, I repeat: watch this space… I hope that’s loud and clear. In football, just like in any other sport, you are as good as your last match and I strongly believe that Bafana are going to do it. Bafana, you have got everyone’s support, in the boxing fraternity and everywhere. We support you and we can’t stop simply because people doubt you.
Redeem yourselves, SA
I would like to take this precious moment to pledge my undying support to Bafana Bafana. World Cup 2010 has come to redeem your lost pride. Your nifty skills and dazzling moves accompanied by Vula Vala (stepovers), tsamayas and shibobos will definitely tear apart any opponent as long as you stick to your greatest assets, which are speed and boundless technical skills that will again leave your opponents gasping for air. With instruments of massive destruction (vuvuzelas) as a 12th player, no one will be able to stand a heat against you. When you’re taking the giants of the world football, please don’t pay a lot of attention on what they have already achieved, just go out there to make the nation proud. We will be behind you blowing vuvuzelas and singing songs to inspire your performance. "Fhufhani Bafana Bafana Fhufhani."

Get the corporates in!
As an employee of a corporate-AMWAY Southern Africa, I have taken it upon myself to encourage colleagues to join me in throwing our corporate support to Bafana Bafana. I do this realising that before I become an employee I am a citizen of this country, and with my country set to host the greatest football spectacular in the world it is a moment and an occasion that we may never be granted in our lifetime. It is against this background that as AMWAY Southern corporate, we throw our weight behind Bafana Bafana and we have undertaken to demonstrate this by purchasing the latest Bafana soccer jersey for all our staff to wear every Friday to work- until after the 2010 World Cup. In this way, I hope other corporates and fellow citizens will do the same and broaden this movement of support for our national team the same way we as South Africans of all colours did when we united and threw our support behind the Springbok's successful World Cup campaign in 1995 and 2007. For us at AMWAY, every Friday is ‘wear your Bafana jersey to work Friday’.

Go Bafana Bafana go! The battle lines have been drawn, and I know you can do it and make South Africa and Africa as a whole proud of you by winning this coming 2010 Fifa World Cup. The class of 1996 did it when winning the Afcon in our own backyard when we sang ‘Shosholoza’. This time around we will be behind you, singing ‘Aw’lethu mshin’wam’, with the Vuvuzelas adding the cherry on top of the cream when you conquer the whole world and win this prestigious tournament; in our own backyard!
