THE PLEDGE

I hereby pledge my support to Bafana Bafana before, during, and after the Fifa World Cup 2010. As your proud supporter I pledge to let everyone know that you’re worthy of mine and their support. I will urge my colleagues, neighbours, and fellow countrymen to sing and blow their vuvuzelas in your support in every stadium, Fan Park, in front of their TV sets at home, and at every other opportunity. I pledge never to boo you or your opponents. In unison with you Bafana, I pledge to denounce racism and abuse anywhere and in any form.

Bafana, you must have faith and once you have faith I think nothing is impossible. It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity, so go and enjoy it. I think we can draw a lot of positives from the camps in Brazil and Germany. I think it was a great idea camping away from home because it helps you focus. Most people don’t give us a chance and that is a blessing in disguise, because it will ease the pressure on the boys. We are capable of doing well.
