Moriri was chosen as the PSL Player of the Year at the end of the 2005/06 season and made his national team debut after just five League matches, a record for a rookie making the transition from semi-professional football to the international ranks.

He competed at the 2008 African Nations Cup finals in Ghana, but missed out on the 2009 Confederations Cup through injury.

He won two successive PSL championships with Sundowns in 2006 and 2007 and helped Silver Stars to win promotion at the end of the 2002/03 season, having been rejected as a junior by Jomo Cosmos.
