Dauda, who started his career at Ghanaian second division team Okwawu United, joined top-flight giants Ashanti Gold SC in 2006.

The goalkeeper impressed at Ashanti, prompting a call-up and regular game-time for the Black Stars, who he represented at both the 2008 and 2013 editions of the Africa Cup of Nations.

Dauda then joined Orlando Pirates in July 2013. However, his career has stalled in Mayfair, as he currently played second fiddle to Bafana Bafana reserve gloveman Senzo Meyia, as he moved to Chippa in 2014.
