Rantie started his professional career in Mozambique, before joining Swedish Division 3 side Hässleholm on a loan deal from Stars of Africa Academy in 2011.

The 22-year-old spent 2011/12 on loan at Orlando Pirates, quickly becoming a fan-favourite as he scored seven goals in 20 matches. Pirates expressed interest in signing the striker, but Stars of Africa Academy’s price was too high, and he signed on loan for Malmo in Sweden in August 2012.

'Tiki', as he has been nicknamed in Sweden, proceeded to score a hat-trick on debut for the Swedish club, and went on to score six in six.

He ended the season with six goals in 12 matches, and has two goals in four games for Bafana.
