There is a lot more than pride to play for in tonight’s Vodacom Challenge Soweto Derby between Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, with the winner moving forward to the Final to meet Manchester City.

Despite reports to the contrary, there are no other permutations involved tonight other than a winner-takes-all scenario whereby the victor in Port Elizabeth will play the touring English side for the Vodacom Challenge trophy at Loftus Stadium on Saturday (kick-off 15h00).
 
The fact that Pirates beat City, while Chiefs lost, has no bearing as the teams battle for a place in the Final.

It is difficult to have a big score with these two..Chiefds creates lots of chances but their strikers are always the goals with their back...and hence its esy to close them down.
On teh othr hand, Pirates plays good attacking football but they alwaysa want to give the ball to Teko...damn, i'm a Chiefs fan but i always envy the way Pirates attacks...problem with them is they dont have ideas upfront..just like BafanaBafana...Maximum number of goals that can be scored with these derby is 3. I expect a good match..and by the way, Sundowns is irrelevant in this match....they ca watch with envy...
