Orlando Pirates coach Ruud Krol could spring a surprise on Kaizer Chiefs in tonight’s Soweto Derby at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth.

Bucs PRO Mickey Modisane confirms to KickOff.com that Teko Modise, Katlego Mashego, Innocent Mdledle and Benson Mhlongo are available for selection.
 
“They have been training with the team since Monday after the break the coach gave them and it is up to the coach whether they play or not. But yes, the four players are ready to play today,” Modisane says.
 
Krol had insisted to KickOff.com before the start of the Vodacom Challenge that the quartet were “not going to play during the tournament after their participation in the Confederations Cup. They need a break”, he said at the time.
 
To make matters worse for Chiefs is the fact that Valery Nahayo will miss the Derby due to injury.
 
The winner of today's match will play Manchester City in the Final on Saturday at the Loftus Stadium.

GENTS, LET ME ASK A QUESTION

There is no stage where you wont find presure at chiefs...thi is a team of grat winning tradition and it doesn matter what game is layed.a win is required by both fans and players and management. This is no excuse...the cach must get his facts right from teh start...he should use resources around him..i. the technical team to advie him of teh possible way to please the fans if he has not yet gotten into grips with it. He must not just use Kaizer Junior Nkomo ya Motaung just because he is the "son". That one must evn be loaned to Pirates or maritzburg united.
So, there is definately no excuse for losing any match whatsoever....
