Baroka FC goalkeeper Elvis Chipezeze has no hard feelings after being left out of the Zimbabwe squad to face Congo Brazzaville this month.
Despite enjoying good form in the PSL, Chipezeze was amongst the notable absentees, which included Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Willard Katsande, in the squad named by Warriors coach Sunday Chidzambwa.
The former Black Leopards coach has named three goalkeepers – George Chigova, Edmore Sibanda and Petros Mahari – in his squad ahead of a crucial clash against the Red Devils in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Khama Billiat, Marshall Munetsi and Kudakwashe Mahachi are amongst the South African-based players named in the squad.
"When it's not the right time, it's not the right time. I will wait for my chance," Chipezeze tells KickOff.com.
"There are no hard feelings at all. My focus now is to help my team [Baroka] survive relegation," he adds.
Chipezeze will be in action when Bakgaga visit Highlands Park in an Absa Premiership match in Tembisa on Saturday.
