Rodney Ramagalela remains sidelined at Polokwane City

Posted: 8 March 2019 Time: 13:55

The issue of striker Rodney Ramagalela being frozen out at Polokwane City looks likely to remain unresolved until the end of the season.

Ramagalela, who has signed a pre-contract with Highlands Park, is yet to kick a soccer ball this year after being suspended by City at the beginning of the year.

'Rama G' was due to meet the Rise and Shine management recently to resolve the issue between the two parties but the meeting could not take place, according to a source close to both the club and the player.

"Ramagalela is still coming to training as per his contract but is not allowed to train with the rest of the team," the source tells KickOff.com.

"There was hope that the issue was going to be resolved a few weeks ago but the meeting couldn't take place. The player is still waiting for the club to confirm a new date for the meeting."

Efforts to get comment from Ramagalela about his situation proved futile after he refused to talk, probably out of a fear of victimisation.
