Cape Town City have suffered a massive blow with news that their midfield duo Thabo Nodada and Roland Putsche have been ruled out for the rest of the season.
City confirmed the news on Tuesday that Nodada and Putsche will no longer be playing any part in their campaign due to injuries sustained in their 3-0 victory over Highlands Park in the Nedbank Cup Last 16 clash on the weekend.

Putsche was the first casualty after just 16 minutes as he was replaced by Teko Modise, before Nodada was forced off after 66 minutes with the score then at 1-0.
The club have since confirmed a meniscus tear for the Austrian midfield enforcer and a leg fracture for the Bafana Bafana international workhorse, while also lamenting the poor officiating that supposedly led to the duo's respective injuries.

Thabo Nodada has suffered a right leg fracture, and Roland Putsche a meniscus tear. We wish both a speedy recovery and stress repeated concern over the unpunished violent conduct in the PSL.#iamCityFC ???????? pic.twitter.com/ilsQ1ztKpI
