Siphelele Magubane explains the reasons behind the form of Golden Arrows under Steve Komphela and believes the club will win something under his tutelage.
Arrows are yet to be beaten with Komphela at the helm, winning two and drawing the same number in the four matches he’s been in charge.
Komphela replaced Clinton Larsen in December after an impressive first half of the season with Bloemfontein Celtic and has continued his fine work with Arrows.
"Coach Steve is a winner, ever since he joined the club there's been a lot of change in the camp. He's so motivating towards the players, it's an honour to work under him," Magubane says.
When asked about the difference between Komphela and Larsen, the midfielder points out where the new man in charge is getting it right.
"Both coaches want to win like any other, the difference is Coach Larsen is much calmer and all about direct football, while Coach Steve is more demanding and loud," he explains.
"The current coach also loves to see players express themselves, there's more freedom amongst us. There's more hunger now and demands, and we definitely want to win something. The dream is bigger now."
