Bidvest Wits CEO Jose Ferreira and defender Robun Johannes found guilty of various offences by PSL DC

Bidvest Wits CEO Jose Ferreira and defender Robyn Johannes have been found guilty on various charges by the Premier Soccer League Disciplinary Committee.
Ferreira and Johannes have been charged for bringing the league into disrepute and making improper statements to referee Victor Gomes in their Absa Premiership match against Kaizer Chiefs on January 9 at Bidvest Stadium.
The DC fined Wits R200 000, suspended in its entirely for a period of 24 months on condition that they are not found guilty of a similar offence.
Former Cape Town City captain Johannes, who was sent off in that game, has been fined R100 000, half of which is suspended for 24 months on condition that he is not found guilty of a similar offence.
Ferreira has been handed a four-match ban, two of which are suspended for a period of 24 months on condition that he is not found guilty of a similar offence.
