Dylan Kerr felt Black Leopards were let down by their own decision-making in the defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns.
Leopards suffered defeat for the second straight Absa Premiership game after going down 3-0 to Pitso Mosimane's troops on Wednesday night.
“We worked on things like pressing high yesterday but we didn’t do that in the first half. It was a bit difficult because the pitch is wide, it’s an advantage to Sundowns,” Kerr told SuperSport TV.
“We worked on not letting them get through the gaps but sometimes we lost concentration.
"They missed a couple of chances early on and we had a couple of chances which we could do better. We got punished by a mistake for the first goal. In two v two, attacking [Mwape] Musonda, our decision-making was poor.
"His thought process is poor, we’re trying to score a goal and he loses possession within two touches and it’s in the goal from the counter. That’s what Sundowns are strong at, they’ve got good players.
“Player for player they are better. That’s why they are Mamelodi Sundowns but we’re not gonna go there with fear. We made mistakes and when we got the ball we weren’t as patient as Sundowns."
