Kurt Abrahams won the battle of the South Africans, netting his sixth goal of the season in Westerlo’s 2-0 victory over Percy Tau’s Royale Union Saint-Gilloise in the highlight of this week’s action.

Abrahams squared off against his South African counterpart Tau in the Belgian second-tier as Westerlo hosted Saint-Gilloise, with the Westerlo striker enjoying the last laugh, netting his sixth goal of the season in his 16th start as he helped his side snap a six-game winless run with a 2-0 victory. Tau came on as a substitute at half-time for his 18th league appearance of the season.
The South African is still sidelined due to injury, with Montpellier jumping up to sixth on the Ligue 1 table after a 2-0 win over Caen.
Jacobs made his 16th start of the Scottish Premier League season for Livingston, who suffered a fourth defeat in a row in all competitions after going down 3-0 to giants Rangers, as they dropped down to eighth on the log after 23 games.
