Mamelodi Sundowns have received a welcome boost ahead of their Absa Premiership meeting with Highlands Park this evening.
The Brazilians have confirmed the return of Andile Jali following a foot injury sustained against Libyan side Al-Ahli Bengazi in December.
The 28-year-old midfield hardman returned to full training this week and could make his first appearance of 2019 against The Lions of the North tonight.
Another player that could feature is winger Phakamani Mahlambi, who has been absent since Downs' goalless draw with Baroka in December due to a hamstring strain.
Meanwhile, veteran defender Wayne Arendse is set for a scan on Wednesday as he continues to bounce back from a calf ailment, with striker Thokozani Sekotlong and midfielder Lucky Mohomi both still out with hamstring and knee strains respectively.
Pitso Mosimane's men are fresh off a hard-fought 2-1 win over CAF Champions League rivals Wydad Casablanca on Saturday and will be looking to narrow the six-point gap between themselves and log leaders Bidvest Wits tonight.
Kick-off at the Makhulong Stadium in Tembisa is scheduled for 19h30.
