New Chippa United CEO Morgan Mammila could ring the changes at the Joel Masutha-coached Chilli Boys

Heads could roll at Chippa United after their new CEO Morgan Mammila called an urgent meeting with the club's management and technical team in Port Elizabeth this afternoon.

Chippa's relegation concerns deepened with a 4-2 loss to title contenders Orlando Pirates in Soweto last night, which leaves them second-from-bottom on the Absa Premiership table with 12 points from 17 games.

According to sources close to United, interim coach Joel Masutha's job is under threat.

"The new CEO has called an urgent meeting this afternoon with both management and the technical team to launch the turnaround strategy in a bid to save the club," says the source.

"There could be changes in the technical team but everything will be determined by the outcome and recommendations that will take place during the meeting."

KickOff.com were unable to reach Mammila, who joined United in the new year after serving as a CEO at fellow strugglers Baroka, for a comment on the matter.

Chippa owner Siviwe Mpengesi fired coaches Dan Malesela and Eric Tinkler earlier this season before hiring Masutha in early December.

Masutha was sacked by Black Leopards in November.
