New Free State Stars coach Nikola Kavazovic says he has more pressing concerns than worrying about possibly losing influential winger Sinethemba Jantjie to Bidvest Wits in the current transfer window.

As reported by this week, the Clever Boys are pushing to get Jantjie's move to Gauteng to happen this month rather than at the end of the season.

On Tuesday the Gavin Hunt-coached side announced the capture of the 29-year-old on a pre-contract.

When quizzed on the matter, Kavazovic said he was unware of such developments.

"Look, I just found out from you," the Serbian told this website.

"And at the moment I really don't have any attitude about the matter ... I'm too busy about [the]two next games.

"I didn't even try or thought about that (asking management). As I said, there is much more important things on my mind in [the] following six to seven days.

Asked for a comment, Stars general manager Rantsi Mokoena said: "What for? We will cross the bridge when we get to it, but right now I don't know. We will cross the bridge when we get to it."

Relegation-threatened Ea Lla Koto will host log leaders Wits at Goble Park on Saturday (18h00).
