Inter Milan Sporting Director Pierro Ausilio says he is not surprise to have Jose Mourinho linked for a come back following his exit from Manchester United.
Mourinho has been heavily linked with a return to the club he led to a treble eight years ago, but the outfit in question rebukes links to the 'Special One'.
However, the Italian giants have quickly squalled those murmurs and backs current incumbent Luciano Spalletti to continue for 'many years'.
"Mourinho? He is not a shadow. It does not surprise me that we talk about him in a time when media and everyone need to say something.
"We work in a more rational way. Our project has been ongoing for a year-and-a-half with Spalletti and will go on with him for many years," Ausilio told Sky Sport Italia.
The Nerazzurri have been slated, at times for wrong businesses in the transfer market with Ausilio admitting regret to losing individuals such as Phillipe Coutinho and Matteo Kovacic.
"Definitely Coutinho. I'll be honest; it wasn't really for economic reasons. In fact, as soon as we sold him, we signed Kovacic and (Mauro) Icardi.
"Branca, myself and the whole technical department would have kept him for 20 years but he wasn't playing. Every six months he would come and fairly say that we wanted to leave because he wanted to play," he said.
