Orlando Pirates and Polokwane City hard-hit by PSL suspensions

Orlando Pirates are without two suspended players and a technical team member tonight, while Kaizer Chiefs will be missing Willard Katsande against SuperSport United on Wednesday.

Pirates midfielders Xola Mlambo and Marshall Munetsi, and performance analyst Franck Plaine will sit out this evening's league clash with Free State Stars at Goble Park, with Nyiko Mobbie likewise suspended for the hosts.

Polokwane City have been hardest hit by suspensions tonight, as they will have to make do without star playmaker Jabu Maluleke, Edgar Manaka, Japhet Borges, Lesiba Aphane and Amos Dhlomo against Highlands Park at Peter Mokaba Stadium.

The Lions of the North, though, will be without suspended pair Lindokuhle Mbatha and Sello Motsepe.

Mamelodi Sundowns mentor Pitso Mosimane will be missing defender Mosa Lebusa tonight against Baroka, who are without Bonginkosi Makume for the tie at Lucas Moripe Stadium.

Midfield enforcer Katsande will suffer the same fate in Amakhosi's first match under new coaching duo Ernst Middendorp and Shaun Bartlett against Matsatsantsa at Mbombela Stadium tomorrow.

Middendorp is also without injured defenders Ramahlwe Mphahlele and Erick Mathoho, who are only due back in the new year after undergoing surgeries.
