Bayern Munich & France star Kingsley Coman opens up on injuries and early retirement at the age of 22

After winning six consecutive league titles with Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Bayern Munich, Kingsley Coman has made a heartbreaking revelation about his future.

Coman, 22, is considered by many as one of Europe's elite talents but his promising career could be curtailed if his recent words are anything to go by.

The Bayern winger finally returned to action earlier this month after not playing since the start of the season, but in a shocking interview, the French international admitted he will contemplate retirement if he suffers another injury setback.

Coman ruptured the syndesmosis ligament in his left ankle on the opening day of the season against Hoffenheim - a game that was his first since injuring the same ankle in February.

It ruled him out of France's World Cup-winning campaign and in an emotional interview, the 22-year-old opened up about these serious injuries.

"It was a very difficult year. When I hurt myself, it was the end of the world for me." the 15-time capped Les Blues winger told TF1.

"I hope I don't have to relive what I've been through. Enough is enough. I will not accept a third operation - it will mean maybe my foot is not made for this level.

"I will then lead another life, an anonymous life."
