Dylan Kerr cleared for Black Leopards duty against Maritzburg United

Posted: 6 December 2018 Time: 11:30

Black Leopards have received a major boost ahead of their Absa Premiership encounter against Maritzburg United next Wednesday at Harry Gwala Stadium.

The club's newly appointed head coach Dylan Kerr will finally get an opportunity to sit on the bench after he received his work permit this week.

On the 19th of November Lidoda Duvha announced the 51-year-old Englishman as a replacement for Joel Masutha, but he had to wait for his relevant papers before he could start working in the country.

Leopards team manager Elijah Mulaudzi confirmed the news to KickOff.com.

"He got it," Mulaudzi said.

"He got it after Saturday's game [against Bidvest Wits]. He got it on Monday or Tuesday."

The former Gor Mahia coach, who is used to winning league titles, has a big task on his hands in lifting Leopards off the bottom of the table.
