Jeremy Brockie says Mamelodi Sundowns are unlikely to have any problems getting past their CAF Champions League opponents Leones Vegetarianos when they meet at Loftus Stadium tomorrow.
Sundowns registered a 2-0 victory in the their first leg preliminary round tie in Equatorial Guinea last week and are confident of finishing the job on home soil, as they look to qualify for the group stages yet again.
The defending Absa Premiership champions did not have any video footage of their opponents ahead of the first leg, but managed to get a good result despite not knowing what to expect from their opponents.
Now that they've seen how their opponents play, coach Pitso Mosimane will be even better prepared to take on the West Africans.
"We actually did not do any video footage on them, we had nothing on them. Sometimes, in a way, it can work well because you can't take your opponent lightly and you've got to go out there and put in a professional performance and that's what we did.
"The boys worked hard in testing conditions and I don't think we will have any problems with them at home, and we will get into the next qualifying round."
Brockie opened his Champions League account with a stunning volley and said his confidence is back where he needs it to be. He could get another opportunity upfront to terrorise the opposition who would no doubt have been planning for him during the last week.
Like he did during SuperSport United's road to the 2017 Confederation Cup final, Brockie would want to be the main man upfront for Sundowns on the continent.
