New Black Leopards coach Dylan Kerr will be tasked with deciding the fate of trialists Abia Nale and Enocent Mkhabela, according to club boss David Thidiela.
Nale was seemingly given the runaround by Leopards following the recent resignation of Kerr's predecessor Joel Masutha, but the former Kaizer Chiefs winger may yet earn a deal with the Absa Premiership strugglers.
Kerr, who previously led Gor Mahia to back-to-back Kenyan league titles, was appointed by Lidoda Duvha this week and will oversee his first training session today.
Leopards were meant to host Mamelodi Sundowns next week but the match has been postponed due to the Brazilians' CAF Champions League commitments.
Kerr will instead start his tenure with a clash against high-flying Bidvest Wits at Peter Mokaba Stadium on December 1.
"I am excited and scared at the same time," Kerr said of the challenge ahead.
"I can't say much about my ambitions with the club. This is my first day at training.
"Luckily the game against Sundowns has been postponed and this will give me one more week to prepare," concluded the ex-Mpumalanga Black Aces assistant coach.
