Maritzburg United coach Fadlu Davids was given a scare by Highlands Park last month and says they cannot underestimate Owen da Gama's side tonight at Harry Gwala Stadium (20h15).
Maritzburg needed two late goals to beat Highlands 2-1 in the Telkom Knockout last-16 to register their first home win of the season at the same venue on October 20.
Davids expects another battle against the Lions of the North, who have been boosted upfront by the return from suspension of new signing Tendai Ndoro.
"We can't take it easy now that we beat them already at Harry Gwala Stadium," Davids said.
"It was a tough game. They also took the lead with our mistake in a build-up but again the character in that game coming back from one down, it could be the same thing this evening."
The Team of Choice were knocked out of the TKO by Bidvest Wits last weekend, going down 2-1.
Swazi recruit Justice Figuaredo scored his first goal for the club as a substitute against Wits, with Davids expecting the ex-Manzini Sundowns to grow in stature in time.
"He's growing now, week-by-week, game-by-game in professional football. He was coming from Swaziland playing in that league," he said of the 21-year-old.
"He's adjusting, getting better and better, getting to understand how we play and that's really a credit to him.
"But we should on the other hand know that he's still young, still needs to learn a lot. But definitely we are happy with his progress."
