Black Leopards have added centre-back Mzwanele Mahashe and midfielder Enocent Mkhabela to the group of trialists currently under assessment at the club.

The 30-year-old Mahashe left Baroka FC at the end of last season when his contract was not renewed after arriving in 2016, while Mkhabela parted ways with Platinum Stars after they were relegated, having featured 25 times in all competitions including in the Promotion/Relegation Play-Offs.

Lidoda Duvha head coach Joel Masutha confirmed the players' presence at the club.

"Yes, former Baroka centre-back Mzwanele Mahashe is here and he is doing well," he tells KickOff.com.

"Abia [Nale] is also doing very, very well. And there's another boy who is a striker. I only know him as 'Chukwu', I don't know his real name. We call him Chukwu, he is from Bloemfontein. I worked with him while I was still at Eagles.

"Enocent Mkhabela is also here. We played a friendly against another ABC [Motsepe League] team and he played very well.

"Everyone is pushing, but by Saturday we will be making decisions on who we are taking and so on."
