Highlands Park coach Owen da Gama is hoping striker Peter Shalulile can find his form in the PSL after he recently found the back of the net on international duty for Namibia.
Shalulile missed the first few games of the season with an injury, but has managed to play four matches since making his return.
The Namibian will no doubt be looking to open his scoring account when the Lions of the North take on Bidvest Wits in Milpark on Friday.
"We have been battling to score, but we have improved our shots in target. I remember in our first match against Orlando Pirates we had zero shots on target, but it has improved tremendously," Da Gama said.
"A big influence in our club has always been the Peter Shalulile factor. He was our top scorer in the NFD and he scored for Namibia and had one assist [during the international break], so we are happy that he is back to scoring.
"He was obviously absent for the first five games of the season due to injury, so I think he plays a big role in scoring our goals.
"But that's also why we signed a player of the calibre of Tendai Ndoro. We know he is a quality player who can score goals," he adds of the suspended Zimbabwean.
