Kaizer Chiefs coach Giovanni Solinas is relishing an attacking quartet consisting of Leonardo Castro, Khama Billiat, Lebogang Manyama and Dumisani Zuma.
Amakhosi supporters may have to buckle up as the Absa Premiership returns with a visit to Cape Town City at the Cape Town Stadium this weekend.
Chiefs are still in search of their first league win of the season, despite the arrival of some exciting players during the recent transfer window.
The likes of Billiat and Castro have tormented defenses up front, having each managed three goals thus far, but it is the Soweto giants' defensive displays that have haunted them since the arrival of Solinas.
While a pro-defensive line-up was fielded in their previous meeting - the MTN8 semi-final second leg – against SuperSport, the result still did not go in their favour as they were eliminated from the competition.
However, what the Italian tactician has planned with the availability of new signing Manyama could be exciting and scary at the same time for many of the club's avid followers.
"In my opinion, when Lebo comes in, we can play with Castro, Billiat, Lebo and Zuma," said Solinas.
"We want to play attacking football, so we must show attacking football. But, it might be a problem after the ball is lost hey, defensively.
"Yes, this is a challenge, but I like this challenge, I trust this challenge."
Having leaked five goals in their last three games in all competitions, Solinas acknowledges the need for transitional balance but holds optimism that he would be able to get his attacking players to assist in defence.
"We need balance, we need to solve this as a collective. When you play a lot of attacking players, like strikers, we need the strikers to also participate in the defensive job," he added.
"Because if they don't participate, we have only six players to recover the ball. Sometimes it's okay, you can recover the ball with six players, sometimes not.
"Sometimes you need to drop and be a compact team, but I'm curious with this challenge. I'll wait, I am curious. I am confident.
"I am optimistic because in my opinion, Castro, Billiat, Lebo and Zuma can play together. Yes, the problem for us is the defensive job but when we have the ball the problem is also for the opposing team."
Whether Manyama will feature against The Citizens this weekend is still a secret, given his lengthy spell on the sidelines in Turkey last season.
Kick-off in the Mother City on Saturday is set for 15h00.
