Two Africans in contention for the FIFA FIFPro World11 2018 team as 55 nominees announced

The 55 players in contention for the FIFA FIFPro World11 2018 team have been announced.
FIFPro, which is the worldwide representative organisation for 65,000 professional footballers, in conjunction with FIFA have announced the list of players who will now be eligible for the World11 team.
All 55 players were selected by fellow professional footballers, as 25 000 players from 65 different countries voted for one goalkeeper, four defenders, three midfielders and three forwards.
Real Madrid dominates the nominations with 11 of their current first-team squad included, while only one member of last year's XI misses out, Italy and Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci.
Africa have two representatives this year, with Liverpool duo Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane of Egypt and Senegal respectively.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic's incredible 12 year run in the final nominations list also came to an end alongside Sergio Aguero, Gonzalo Higuain and Alexis Sanchez and Gareth Bale as the most notable omissions.
