Manchester United star is raring to come back stronger

England had a game to forget against Luis Enrique’s Spain in a UEFA Nations League clash at Wembley Stadium on Saturday night.

The Three Lions took an early lead in the 11th minute after Luke Shaw found Marcus Rashford, with a defense-splitting pass, with the latter making no mistake in slotting the ball past his club teammate to give his nation the lead.

Shaw, who started his first match for England since March 2017, suffered a blow to his head as he landed awkwardly after a challenge against Spain’s Dani Carvajal, which saw him substituted after 57 minutes.

The Manchester United fullback took to twitter to thank all those who showed support and concern while he was still unconscious, saying, “Thank you for all the love and support. I am doing fine and in the best hands. I am a fighter, so I will be back soon.”

Shaw had recently reclaimed his position in the United squad, following a lengthy 11-month absence due to an injury he sustained in 2015, in a UEFA Champions League match against PSV Einhoven.

The Old Trafford faithful will be hoping Shaw will be back in action soon, as he has been instrumental since his return to the first team.
