SAFA president Danny Jordaan is pleased the national footballing association were able to find common ground with the SABC regarding broadcasting Bafana Bafana's 2019 AFCON qualifier with Libya.
Last month it was widely reported that the public broadcaster would not be allowed to show Bafana's games due to a payment dispute with SAFA.
However, SABC spokesperson Neo Momodu earlier today confirmed to KickOff.com that the game at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday will be shown live on SABC 1. Kick-off is at 15h00.
“We are pleased to announce that we have resolved the outstanding issues and I would like to thank the SABC in making sure that the nation will watch their favourite sport on the national broadcaster,” added Jordaan in a SAFA press release.
“I would also like to thank the Ministries of Sport and Recreation SA and Communications for working hard to resolve this matter.”
SuperSport will also be showing Bafana's match on the weekend.
