Citizens ease Nodada concerns

Cape Town City have eased concerns around influential midfielder Thabo Nodada, who got injured in the MTN8 semi-final win over Mamelodi Sundowns on Sunday.
The combative workhorse had to be stretchered off in the contest at Lucas Moripe Stadium, casting doubt for his participation in the tournament decider against cup holders SuperSport United on September 29.
However, Nodada is only expected to be out for the next seven to 10 days with a grade two strain.
Given that Austrian enforcer Roland Putsche missed the game against Sundowns after being the recent victim of a bad tackle from Free State Stars stalwart Paulus Masehe, coach Benni McCarthy would naturally welcome the news of Nodada's imminent return.
City's next assignment is against Kaizer Chiefs in the league at Cape Town Stadium on September 15 after the FIFA international break.
