Premier Soccer League official Professor Ronnie Schloss has confirmed to KickOff.com that Black Leopards’ home ground Thohoyandou Stadium is now eligible to host Absa Premiership matches.
However, the Limpopo side still need to apply for permission to use the newly renovated Venda venue, because at the moment Peter Mokaba is still registered as their home base.
"Ja, it happened on Friday afternoon (PSL approval to use Thohoyandou Stadium)," Schloss says.
"Yes, they might play their next game there, but then they need to apply for their remaining games of the season.
“What was not okay was the safety aspect, the safety aspects never complied. The entry points, the exit points, and also there weren't enough toilets. The pitch needed attention, and a few other things with regard to the lighting etcetera."
Lidoda Duvha's next home game will be against Bloemfontein Celtic on September 16.
