Free State Stars head coach Luc Eymael says striker Judas Moseamedi is back from injury and is fit to face his parent club Cape Town City in an Absa Premiership clash tonight.
The former Polokwane City coach also revealed that fullback Patrick Phungwayo is likewise available for selection.
The 24-year-old Moseamedi has made only two appearances so far for his new side, one in the league and one in the MTN8 quarterfinals where he strained a blood vessel in attempting a header.
The Belgian tactician also took the opportunity to give an update on winger William Twala, who is still to make his debut for the Nedbank Cup champions, as well as on defender Rooi Mahamutsa.
"Judas is okay, Twala is really feeling better too," Eymael tells KickOff.com.
"Phungwayo is working with the group. He played 65 minutes in a friendly. Rooi got an injection but he is training with the group."
Ea Lla Koto are currently 14th on the log with a win and two losses, but Eymael insists they have made a better start to the season compared to last term.
"A better start than last season. Last season we took four from 15 points. Here three from nine and normally with all chances created at AmaZulu we had to win this game ... we are working on it to try to correct things. But with six on nine ... you can imagine how the interpretation should have been different. We have to take one game at a time ... and we'll face a very good Cape Town City. If we can succeed to take four points in the next two games it will be a good start."
Like City, Stars will also have a former player to deal with in Siphelele 'Shaka Zulu' Mthembu, but Eymael says that will not be a big deal.
"We are not focusing on one player but on the strengths and weaknesses of all the teams. Mthembu took his decision [to leave Stars], it is soccer, life and it is part of the game."
Kick-off is at 19h30 at Goble Park.
