Leopards went down 2-1 to ten-man Orlando Pirates at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Tuesday night.

Masutha, however, insists they will not panic as they switch focus to their next league clash against Bloemfontein Celtic.

“We knew that we were going to lose at some point but I’ll only be worried if my players are not fighting," Masutha told SuperSport TV.

"So we’re not going to press any panic buttons. We’re going to play Celtic [after the international break] they’re a strong side unbeaten in this league. We just need to prepare and forget about this defeat. To fight with the big boys you need more than talent. It’s tough.

Masutha went on to comment about his side not being awarded a penalty late in the game.

“Maybe because we’re coming from the NFD we don’t understand or don’t know some of the rules. So I don’t want to comment," he added.

“I will repeat Pitso [Mosimane]’s statement saying that he wants to keep the money for his kids. So I don’t want to come here and behave as if I’m a big coach. I don’t want to come here and start talking about referees. I only talk about my players and our performance. I believe second half we performed well and first half we were nowhere to be seen."
