Black Leopards have hinted that the Premier Soccer League have granted them the green light to host Absa Premiership matches at the Thohoyandou Stadium.
Following weeks of back and forth, Lidoda Duvha could finally start hosting matches at their traditional home ground, beginning with their next fixture against Orlando Pirates.
Leopards have cheekily hinted that 'football is coming home' – the saying made famous by English fans during the recent FIFA World Cup in Russia – via their official Facebook page.
The venue had been undergoing upgrades in recent weeks, with the Thulamela Local Municipality working around the clock to help the club earn the PSL's approval to host games there.
Professor Ronnie Schloss this week again visited the stadium for a third inspection, and it's understood that the League's Executive Committee lead by Irvin Khoza have since given the all-clear.
Pending official confirmation, The Buccaneers will have to change their travel plans from Polokwane to Venda for their league clash next week Tuesday evening at 19h30.
