"With Siphiwe Tshabalala we have a principle agreement. We will complete this transfer within a few days," Altiparmak was quoted as saying in the Turkish media.

It is thought that 'Shabba', who earned international acclaim following his famous FIFA World Cup opening goal on home soil in 2010, has agreed a two-year deal with the newly promoted Super Lig outfit.

Erzurumspor have yet to register a point in two outings in the new season, and are now looking to the experience of the Amakhosi legend to help them avoid an immediate return to the lower division.

Chiefs coach Giovanni Solinas refused to comment on the talk linking his vice-captain with an exit from the club on Thursday, but it would appear that the veteran attacker is now destined to end his 11-and-a-half year stay at Naturena.
