Black Leopards assess ex-Moroka Swallows and Chippa United midfielder Tshwarelo Bereng

Former Moroka Swallows and Chippa United midfielder Tshwarelo Bereng has resurfaced at Black Leopards where he hopes to win a contract under coach Joel Masutha.

Bereng started training with Leopards this week, having left United at the beginning of the year.

"Yes, it's true, he [Bereng] is here. We are still assessing him," confirmed Masutha.

Meanwhile, King Ndlovu was recently on trial at Bidvest Wits but landed up joining Lidoda Duvha instead after receiving his clearance from cash-strapped Jomo Cosmos.

The goalkeeper declined to reveal the length of his contract with the Absa Premiership newcomers.

"Yes, I have joined Black Leopards but I am not allowed to divulge details of my contract," Ndlovu said.

"Wits wanted to assess me whilst Leopards came with an offer."

Masutha indicated he would hand Ndlovu his debut against Orlando Pirates at Peter Mokaba Stadium on August 28.
