Juventus' Cristiano Ronaldo tips son 'Cristianinho' to emulate his superstar status in football

Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is '100 percent' certain his son Cristiano Jr. will emulate his success in football.

Ronaldo Junior, eight, has been backed to forge a successful career by father, a five-time winner of the Ballon d'Or.

Despite earning the reputation as one of the greatest footballers to ever play the game, the 33-year-old claims 'Cristianinho', the nickname given to his son, has shown tremendous potential.

"He's very competitive. He's like me as a child. He doesn't like losing," he told Italian broadcaster DAZN.

"He'll become like me, I'm 100 percent sure of it. I'd like to teach him some things, but ultimately he will choose what to do and he'll always have my support.

"But of course, I'd like him to become a player because I think he has a passion for it too."
