KickOff.com has learnt that Chippa United are set to part ways with Nigerian defender James Okwuosa.

Okwuosa, who captained Chippa and played 31 games in all competitions last term, is yet to feature for the team this campaign.

According to a source, the big centre-back has stopped training with the Port Elizabeth-based outfit.

"Okwuosa is on his way out and his next destination is still yet to be confirmed," says the source.

"He has since stopped training with Chippa United."

Meanwhile, Chilli Boys coach Dan Malesela has reportedly made way for ex-SuperSport United mentor Eric Tinkler barely three games into 2018/19.

The club, who are considering re-signing AmaZulu striker Rhulani Manzini, have also handed Ayabulela Konqobe his clearance. The defender recently went for an assessment at Kaizer Chiefs but no deal was forthcoming.
