Chippa United line up Eric Tinkler to replace Dan Malesela

Posted: 21 August 2018 Time: 19:20

Chippa United are believed to be on the verge of replacing head coach Dan Malesela with former SuperSport United coach Eric Tinkler.

According to reports, The Chilli Boys could be the first club to hit the panic button in the 2018/19 season as Malesela is said to be on the way out.

Despite the new Absa Premiership campaign being just three rounds old, a winless start for the club could see Tinkler take over at the Port Elizabeth-based club.

'Dan-Dance' has failed to make good on his return at the end of last season, as Chippa have managed just one point thus far and occupy 15th position on the standings.

Tinkler, who has been without a job since leaving Matsatsantsa in March due to the club's landslide in the league after going all the way to the CAF Confederation Cup last year, could now return to the PSL.
