Leopards to field new keeper vs Bucs

Black Leopards head coach Joel Masutha says King Ndlovu's move to the club from Jomo Cosmos has been agreed upon.

The goalkeeper recently trained with Bidvest Wits, but had to look elsewhere when the former league champions opted to sign Real Kings' Ricardo Goss.

Last week Ndlovu told KickOff.com that he was willing to join the Limpopo side, and according to Masutha the goalminder is likely to make his debut for the club against Orlando Pirates at Peter Mokaba Stadium on August 28.

"We are taking him," Masutha confirms to this website.

"He will start tomorrow [today]. I believe he will be the one in goals against Pirates. He must play once he gets here, he's got a position. Already uvumile uMjomana [Cosmos owner Jomo Sono has agreed] and the player has also agreed. I was talking to him so everything is right. He will sign when he gets here, tomorrow before training he will sign. I believe he will play against Pirates."

On the weekend Lidoda Duvha played to a 2-2 draw with Chippa United, with Masutha unsatisfied with Christophe Aifimi's display in goal for the topflight newcomers.

"This game we had Aifimi, his surname I don't know, it's very difficult for me. He is from Benin. These other two goalkeepers we've got bayathuka [they get scared] man, bayathuka."

Leopards are fifth on the Absa Premiership table with five points from three games, having beaten Polokwane City and drawn with Highlands Park and Chippa.
