Kylian Mbappe came off the bench to net a brace as Paris Saint-Germain defeated Guingamp 3-1 in Ligue 1 on Saturday evening.

Five minutes later, Roux could not be denied as he grabbed the lead for the hosts after a mistake at the back, 1-0.

Nicolas Benezet had the ball in the back of the net for Guingamp in the 26th minute but it was ruled out following a VAR consultation for a push leading up to the header inside the box.

The pace of the match slowed down towards the end of half , with Guingamp comfortable at the back .

PSG manager Thomas Tuchel brought in World Cup winner Mbappe immediately after the break with Timothy Weah making way.

The Parisians were awarded a penalty eight minutes into the second stanza and Neymar made no mistake from the spot to make it 1-1.

Di Maria was unlucky ten minutes before time for Tuchel’s charges as his header following a cross from Neymar crashed against the post.

Two minutes later, Mbappe eventually made it 2-1 for PSG, timing his run to perfection to net with a low shot following a through ball from Di Maria.

Mbappe sealed the match in the last minute of regulation time with an impressive finish after exchanging passes with Neymar inside the box.
