The Team of Choice are finally off the mark in the Absa Premiership, following their stalemate with Chiefs on Friday evening.

Siphesihle Ndlovu was red-carded in the 16th minute of the match and the Team of Choice managed to hold on for their first point of the season.

“It was about the fight, getting that first point on the board,” Davids told SuperSport TV.

“I’m extremely proud of the boys today you can easily crumble against a quality side as Kaizer Chiefs after going a man down so early in the game.

“But the way we started the game in the first 15 minutes with the intensity, that was absolutely marvelous. The turning point [was] the red-card. You have to give credit to the players they left everything out there to get the first point of the season,” he said.
