Gor Mahia coach Dylan Kerr has slammed Kaizer Chiefs for their conduct and warned them they will have to fork out "big money" if they hope to sign defender Godfrey Walusimbi.
Gor are threatening to take Amakhosi to FIFA for allegedly inviting Walusimbi to South Africa for an assessment without the Kenyan club's consent.
The Uganda international has two years left on his contract with K'Ogalo, according to Kerr.
"What the player and all the other parties involved did was irresponsible and unprofessional," Kerr tells KickOff.com on a call from Nairobi.
"We have two important CAF Confederation fixtures and the league games that now I have to plan without the services of Walusimbi.
"We are going to report this issue to FIFA.
"Our chairman [Ambrose Rachier] has always said he will not stand in any player's way if it is the right choice and proper procedures are followed.
"Kaizer Chiefs need to act professional and show us respect if they want the player.
"His contract with the club is running up until 2020."
He adds: "Would they give us [Siphiwe] Tshabalala for free? They must be prepared to pay big money."
