Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila FC have decided against signing former Kaizer Chiefs and Baroka striker Lewis Macha.

According to TTM spokesperson Livhuwani Madzuhe, Macha failed to impress the technical team led by head coach Sello Chokoe on his trial with the Limpopo side.

The club remain on the hunt for an experienced hitman.

"We have released Lewis Macha yesterday," Madzuhe tells KickOff.com.

"After he trained with the team for the past weeks, the technical team was not impressed by his match fitness and performance during our friendly games.

"We are still busy looking for an experienced striker who can come and assist our team to get straight promotion."

Macha also trained with Black Leopards in Venda without any luck after being released by Bakgaga at the end of last season.

The 26-year-old Zambian scored twice in 10 appearances in all competitions in 2017/18.

Vhadau Vha Damani will open their NFD season against Uthongathi FC on Saturday afternoon at Princess Magogo Stadium.
