What's next for Bidvest Wits winger Sifiso Myeni?

Posted: 13 August 2018 Time: 11:30 has learnt that midfielder Sifiso Myeni has stopped training with Bidvest Wits and is on the lookout for a new team.

According to a source, the former Orlando Pirates and SuperSport United winger has not been registered with the PSL giants for the 2018/19 season.

"Myeni is not here [at Wits]," says the informant.

"He stopped training with the club a long time ago.

"I believe he is looking for a new club to join in the new season."

This website tried to get comment on Myeni from Wits CEO Jose Ferreira but calls went unanswered.

Head coach Gavin Hunt discarded a number of players from his former championship-winning side in the off-season, as the likes of Moeneeb Josephs, Daine Klate, Nazeer Allie, James Keene, Vincent Pule, Ben Motshwari, Eleazar Rodgers, Bongani Khumalo and Kyle Peters made way, while Phumlani Ntshangase was recently loaned to SuperSport.

The Clever Boys replenished their stocks by bringing in Haashim Domingo, Bantu Mzwakali, Simon Murray, Terrence Dzvukamanja, Mxolisi Macupu, Vuyo Mere, Lehlohonolo Nonyane, Robyn Johannes, Brighton Mhlongo, Gift Motupa and Deon Hotto.
